LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar on Thursday approved recruitment for one lakh posts in various departments across the province.
According to the recruitment policy directed by the Chief Minister of Punjab, the recruitment process will be transparent and purely on merit basis. Usman Bazdar also directed the ad hoc doctors to remove the obstacles in the payment of salaries and directed that there should be no delay in the payment of salaries.
Explaining the details of vacancies to the media, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Hassan Khawar said that 16,000 out of 33,000 vacancies in the education department would be filled in the first phase. He said that 1200 posts in Primary Health Care Department, 2900 posts in Specialized Health Care, 2600 posts in Higher Education, 3500 posts in College Teachers Interns, 1200 posts in Civil Defense Department, 4300 posts in Prisons Department and Prisons Department. There will be 400 vacancies in Jat. Filled in stages.
