Again, it obviously has no health benefit and could very possibly carry with it some very real harm, but it’s a fact of life that many celebrities do exist on three cokes a day and call it a life.

Another thing that many celebrities do is find their favorite kind of exercise and do it, sometimes obsessively. If it is extremely successful for them, and their fitness guru ends up putting out a fitness infomercial, the celebrity can sometimes even get an endorsement deal out of their weight loss success! Some celebrities, like Jessica Simpson with Harley Pasternak and Five Factor Diet, also become the celebrity face of a diet without necessarily signing up to promote it. I’m sure with all the attention that she has brought to the Five Factor diet, she wishes she had signed a deal to be a spokesperson for them like she did with the Proactive corporation.
Some celebrities like Kristie Allie, Valerie Bertinelli, and How queen Latifah’s weight loss did with Jennie Craig, go on a public weight loss journey as a promotional tool for a weight loss company. Sometimes it works and sometimes the person puts the weight back on in a very public manner, which somewhat backfires on the fitness company that sponsored the equally public weight loss that preceded it. It doesn’t body well in the minds of the public as regards their perception of how long-term the success of that program would be in their own lives
